CSV and Excel File Import

You can import CSV or Excel file into your database, and use this data in your applications.

To import CSV data, use the following steps:

• select Import CSV/XLS from the Data menu.
• Select the file to be imported using the file browser, and set whether CSV or XLS file
• Choose whether to import into a new table, or an existing table.  If you specify an existing table structure, the table should match the number of types of columns to be imported.   If they do not match, you can use the customize option to customize the imported data.
• If required, customize the data by setting which columns, the column names, and types, to be imported.
• When ready, click the Complete Import button.
