The primary goal of the Data
Mashups service is to enable quick mashup applications that integrate
data and applications from wide range of sources. Service
account holders import or create mashup applications that are made
available to their target users.
The applications are accessible via the account holder's portal, and can be made available on
any internal or external web site for use by employees or customers of
the account holder's company.
Data Mashups service account holders can import
applications, build new applications, or customize existing
applications using the Online Visual Mashup Builder (AppliBuilder) provided with the
service.
AppliBuilder is a browser-based tool to create mashup
applications. It simplifies the tasks required to create and
deploy an application, and makes it easy for novice developers to
create mashup applications. It includes a number of tools and
capabilities for this purpose
