Adding Internal Applications

The mashup portal works by integrating application pages in the browser, and thus allows you to add application views from within your firewall to the portal, even though the Data Mashups server is outside the firewall.

Adding a Intranet Web Application to your Portal Page

Any application that provides a web page can be integrated. You will only need to set the URL of the web page to be integrated.

Of course, not all pages are suitable for a portal page. You will want to pick web pages suitable for a portal. In some cases, your web applications may provide summary pages that will be suitable for a portal page.

For deeper integration with your Intranet applications, e.g. using web services and SOA in your enterprise, you will need to host the Applibase server product inside your firewall.
